Decisiones

The Jelly Shake
I would say that life has a way of hitting us with something repeatedly, until we learn the lesson that we were meant to learn - And it you don't want to look at it like a cosmic meant-to or purposeful causality, just bear in mind that you'll keep facing the same issues until you solve the problem and learn from it.
I figured this one out while rewatching Up!, you know, that Pixar movie that went viral because of its portrayal of Carl and Ellie's relationship. I saw how Carl made Ellie his entire life and lost himself to that relationship... not because she demanded it, but because he willingly gave in his entire identity for that. So, when Ellie is gone, there's no more Carl, he's just a shell until he figured out a way to create a new life for himself through adventure.
I want to figure out who I am. Who's Cristina when she's not someone's daughter, sister or girlfriend. You'll always be a part of that, but not the only part anymore.
Wake up, you still got a life to live.
